Patient Care Coordinator

Robi Jones - Patient Care CoordinatorRobi Jones, our Patient Care Coordinator will be with you every step of the way.  She will oversee and coordinate assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating your care.  She will be a liaison between you and your physician, the health care staff and others involved in your care.  Her role is to answer your questions and help you and your family make informed decisions throughout your treatment.

Your Care Coordinator for the Breast Center at Providence Hospital is Robi Jones.  She is an RN with oncology and surgical experience. Your physician may request a referral for her services.
Her role as Care Coordinator is unique and innovative and is offered to our breast cancer patients free of charge. Providence Hospital is committed to providing supportive and educational care during the days ahead, as you make important decisions regarding your health care. She will assist you in managing the variety of questions, challenges and decisions that can arise while coping with breast cancer.

As you get to know each other, she will help you identify your most important needs, help find answers to your questions, provide practical resources and offer emotional support and understanding throughout the process. If you are scheduled for upcoming tests, treatments or surgery, she can talk with you through each procedure beforehand so that you will be informed about the procedure and less anxious about having it done. Your family is invited to participate in these discussions, so they can also have a full understanding of the procedure. She will also work with your physicians and other members of the Providence Hospital Multi-Disciplinary team to help coordinate your care. Part of this process is a Comprehensive Breast Conference that meets each week to discuss treatment options and recommendations.
We know that this is a difficult and confusing time and hope to assist you in understanding and managing your disease.

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes
hold of your right hand and says to you,
do not fear, I will help you
